A&Q Partnership have been involved in a number of projects for Selex ES including refurbishments to the HR offices and Space lab. The most extensive project is the formation of a new reception and restaurant within the existing industrial unit. Selex ES are part of the Finmeccanica group, working on defence and security electronics such as radar systems, air traffic control, avionics and UAV’s. As the scheme would be used for team and client meetings in addition to breakout spaces, it required to be visually distinct.

The spaces include several curved glazed meeting rooms with a mezzanine for larger meetings.

The design includes a number of bespoke timber curved screens, a cafeteria and a thorough M&E redesign that has allowed an exposed red fabric air conditioning duct system to match the rest of the scheme.
