The QVS project was the first-time fit out of a single floor in a fully redeveloped building. The
original building dates from the late 70’s or early 80’s but had has been taken back to the shell structure, altered to include two new atria and the external elevations part re-clad with new curtain wall glazing.
The building is multi-occupancy with HSBC the Bank taking up a lease for the entire Level 6 with space for around 375 workstations.
The primary objective was to bring together a number of departments from diverse locations
across London into a single site to provide a better customer experience, improve efficiency
and consolidate its London Business Banking operation
The scheme design embraced the Bank’s own version of a flexible, agile working environment combining a client facing meetings suite, workplace neighbourhoods and a series of alternative collaboration settings.
