Phil joined A&Q Partnership in 2001 after completing his studies at the University of
Dundee and qualifying in 2003. He became a Director in 2015.
Following a sustained period of work on the regeneration of the award winning Royal
Arsenal, Woolwich, Phil has since combined leading local residential projects and
private individual houses, with larger, more complex developments in London and the
South East. More recently, Phil has been spearheading multiple phases at Acton
Gardens for Countryside Properties and L&Q Housing, forming part of the major
regeneration of the South Acton Estate in West London.
Phil has worked on a broad range of projects of various scales for a variety of clients.
Apart from his extensive involvement in the various phases in Acton, some of his more
recent projects include Ryewood Meadows, Hartland Village and the Grade II Listed
Manor Place redevelopment in Southwark.
With a keen interest in the social implications of architecture, Phil has undertaken
access audits for a variety of clients and implemented practical solutions to
overcome physical obstacles in the built environment. Phil continues to expand his
expertise in inclusive design and has worked on a number of initiatives with
Universities and Commercial clients.
