Jim joined A&Q Partnership in 2003.
Jim began his career as an Assistant Planning Technician before going on to work as a
Senior Architectural Technician for several Architectural practices in Belfast, gaining
many years experience on a range of building types, before going on to study
Architecture at Kingston University and at this time also completed an MSc in the
History of Modern Architecture at the University College London.
Prior to joining A&Q he worked as Project Architect on an extensive range of projects
in the residential, mixed-use, commercial, cultural and office sectors. He was made
Associate Director of Fitzroy Robinson International in 1994 where he managed the
Hungarian Office.
Since joining A&Q Partnership he has worked as Project Architect on several large
scale mix use and residential schemes to include the Royal Arsenal Woolwich which
forms part of the largest regeneration scheme in Europe, together with Kidbrooke
Village and Royal Wells Park.
Jim has an excellent and in depth knowledge of construction and specification writing
and has successfully delivered several highly pressured projects that have required
effective solutions to complex design issues.
