Ash joined A&Q in 2010 in the Dorchester office.
He has been fascinated by architecture from a young age and had found the technical
side enticing. He began to study architecture while at college and working for a
Chartered Surveyor undertaking architectural work for small local residential projects.
Ash graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2006 which was followed by a
couple of years working in architectural practices in Devon. During this time, he
undertook a plethora of projects within small practices, learning to run entire
projects from conception to completion. The steep learning curve paid off with
projects being featured in national publications and more recently on national
television.
During this time, Ash also began designing a new studio focussed on sustainable
construction for one of his former practices, which he eventually, along with a couple
of colleagues, built in order to have a good appreciation of site activities and the
impact drawings can make on site.
Since joining A&Q, Ash has run commercial projects for a national client, undertaken
several multi-million pound specialist education facilities, high-end heritage
residential and new housing schemes with developers.
