The Warren development incorporates the remaining Listed Buildings and waterfront sites adjacent to the Royal Arsenal, plus additional vacant land and buildings, to complete the urban regeneration of North Woolwich.

Building 10, a Grade II Listed Building, is the former Royal Carriage Works, altered and adapted over the two hundred years of military use. The outer historic buildings have been retained, restored and refurbished, whilst the modern armaments production buildings have been stripped away to facilitate the construction of 453 new apartments in six storey blocks, over a podium.

300 of the apartments provide a variety of Affordable accommodation, incorporating Key Worker, Intermediate, Shared Ownership and Social Rented housing. All apartments have an extensive amount of private external space due to an almost continuous gantry or terrace facility around the building. Car parking is hidden under the podium, which houses extrusive water features.

Apart from housing, the remaining Grade II buildings also provide concierge and Estate Management facilities, together with residents’ gym and offices to the north, with a Tesco Convenience Store, Estate Agent and Bar to the south.
