Skyway House

Sham Mong Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong
For HSBC Bank Plc

Skyway House presented a particularly challenging brief to transform what was originally a low-grade industrial space in central Hong Kong into a modern office interior. By the careful integration of a new exposed service infrastructure we were able to maximise the impression of available height to positive effect and ensure the office was in line with the workplace design strategy outlined by the client.

A key feature of this office space was a large collaborative zone providing flexible working space. This central space includes a mixture of formal enclosed meeting spaces and a range of informal interactive settings suitable for spontaneous internal meetings and group working sessions.

The end users comfort was of extreme importance due to the high density of workers and the high outside temperatures. A strong and vibrant office interior has therefore been achieved through the careful integration of colours, graphics and furniture, giving a clear overall brand identity to the workplace.
